A long term partnership for a safe investment

A certified public utility project since 2012, the French Government has ranked Villages Nature as an “Operation of National Interest” and a “Public Interest Project”.
- 1987: A 30 year agreement was signed between the private (The Walt Disney Company and Euro Disney) and public (Government, Ile-de-France region, Seine-et-Marne, RATP Parisian rail authority) partners  
- 2007: The Government, Euro Disney, and Pierre & Vacances Center Parcs signed a “letter of intent” confirming State and local government support for the project, and a new phase of feasibility studies.
- September 2010: An amendment to the 1987 Agreement between Disney and the Government was signed at Matignon Town Hall and made the project possible. 
- 2011: The project is publicly debated in Seine-et-Marne.
- 2012: Initial planning permission applications are submitted (permission granted between August and November 2012) and six regulatory public inquests are carried out in Villeneuve-le-Comte, Bailly-Romainvilliers, and Serris.
- 2013 (provisional planning): Official project launch
- Late 2013 - Early 2014 (provisional planning): Work begins
- Late 2015 (provisional planning): Accommodation delivered
- April 2016 (provisional planning): Site opens to public
